PRIMARY SCHOOLS:
Workshops:
A great way to introduce dance to your schools if you cant commit to regular lessons! Workshops can be a whole day session, or a few days to ensure all year groups experience dance. Workshops can be held in a number of genres, street dance is one example, but workshops could be based on a theme, such as around the world, or World Book Day!
Dance Clubs:
Dance club can run, weekly for students from Year 1 to 6, providing a dedicated space for children to explore the world of dance. In these engaging sessions, children participate in dance-based games, stretch their bodies, learn various dance moves, and even have the opportunity to choreograph their own dances. Additionally, they can work towards presenting their dance creations to parents/carers/teachers at the end of term. Our primary goal is to introduce children to the joy of dance, fostering a love for movement while ensuring they have a fun and enjoyable experience
Curriculum Lessons:
We provide dance in PE lessons for students from Reception to Year 6. Our lessons are designed to align with the current theme or topics, creating an exciting opportunity for children to delve into subjects like the Rainforest, Bullying or Living Things and their habitats. Alongside learning interesting facts, students will have the chance to develop their own choreography, fostering their creativity and self-expression. Our lessons also focus on teaching basic dance terminology and emphasizing teamwork. Our ultimate goal is to inspire children to embrace physical activity by introducing them to the joy and benefits of dance.
Often these lesson are use to cover staff's PPA time.
